Inflation on the rise in North Cyprus

The Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, TRNC is still facing increasing inflation as recent figures indicates that inflation in the TRNC went up by 0.51% in September compared to August.

 According to data from the state planning organisation, when compared to September 2016, overall inflation has increased by 15.35%.

 The most notable effects have been seen in the price of vegetables (cucumbers 80.43%), fruits (water melon 52.52%) and the press (magazines 50%).

 Cyprus which way forward?
