Trump refers to non existing country in address to African leaders
And so US President Donald Trump just discovered a new African country called 'Nambia' but maybe in error when he hosted African leaders to a lunch at the sidelines of the
United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.
Trump went on to praise the health system of “Nambia” – which is not a nation – as “increasingly self-sufficient”.
In his remarks, Trump also said that Africa “has tremendous business potential” and cited his “many friends going to your countries trying to get rich.”

In Guinea and Nigeria you fought a horrifying Ebola outbreak, he said.
Nambia’s health system is increasingly self-sufficient.
But the truth is that there is no country named Nambia; and it was not clear whether Trump may have misread the name of Namibia or confused the country with Gambia or Zambia.@realDonaldTrump just discovered a new country called Nambia— olomoinfo (@Aisapaul) September 21, 2017
