Terror attack rocks London leaves 20 injured as bomb rips through train

The British police are desperately hunting a Tube terrorist who injured at least 22 people using a home-made bucket bomb blast at Parsons Green station on Friday morning.

According to report, the device connected to a timer, sent a "fireball down a carriage" as it detonated with a schoolboy and pregnant woman among those injured in the rush-hour terror explosion.
Wires can been seen hanging out of bucket inside a carrier bag
Terrified commuters 'ran for their lives' and were seen covered in blood with scorched faces and hair after the incident at Parsons Green station in west London at 8.20am.

Experts believe the bucket bomb in a flaming white bucket inside a Lidl freezer bag with wire protruding out of the top is a 'pretty unsophisticated.'

Scotland Yard sources have said that it is being treated as terrorist incident but said could not confirm claims from the scene there is another bomb and the suspect is on the run.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan announced "a manhunt is underway" as bomb squads and counter-terror cops swarmed on the scene.

The person or people responsible for this attack will be caught and will be brought for justice, he said.

Police have revealed that the homemade bomb, likened to pressure cooker devices used in 2013's Boston Marathon attack, did not fully detonate.
A woman injured in the blast is treated by paramedics
Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed she will chair an emergency meeting of Cobra this afternoon, where it is believed she will discuss raising the threat level from severe to critical.

My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and emergency services who are responding bravely to this terrorist incident, she tweeted.

Today's explosion follows four previous attacks in 2017 which saw five innocent people killed in Westminster in March, 22 killed in the Ariana Grande bombing in Manchester in May, eight killed in the van and knife rampage on London Bridge in June and one man killed when a van rammed into worshipers outside a North London mosque.
