North Cyprus police seized 3 tons of illegal meat

About 3 tons of illegal meat were seized between Turkmenköy-Köprü villagers on Friday morning report Turkish Cypriot dailies.
 
According to police press release, Traffic and Smuggling Prevention Directorate teams arrested two people and seized 3 tons of beef found in a van, in an operation on Friday morning.
 
The two men, ND, 26, the driver and AD, 25, a passenger was arrested on charges of "duty-free goods".
 
Police say they are investigating the origin of the meat.
