Gist Time: Who can help out with this?

Now and then many people get confused when places like England, London, UK (United Kingdom) and Britain are being used interchangeably. 

However many get confused with how theses names are used at random, that some may have thought oh London is a country of it's own. 

 But not everyone really knows which is which and how to use them. 

Can some one please help us with this?
