Car burst into flames in the middle of Hamitköy - Haspolat express way (photos)

A Turkish Cypriot man has escaped death after the car he was driving burst into flames in the middle of the Hamitköy - Haspolat express way on Thursday afternoon.

 According to report, the driver of the Mercedes car is said to have left the vehicle without getting hurt just before the fire got out of control.

 Firefighter's intervened and extinguished the fire.

 The incident led to heavy traffic on the busy road between Hamitköy and Haspolat.
