Three injured in an accident on the Lefkosa-Girne road

Three people were injured in a road accident that happened along the Lefkosa-Girne road at about 9:54pm on Saturday night.

According to the information given by the Police Press Officer; a vehicle moving towards the Girne direction, lost control and hit a faulty car parked by the left side of the road due to engine failure.

The incident caused the temporary closure of the road following which the vehicles were towed away and traffic returned to normal. 

The wounded were taken to an hospital for observation and treatment in Girne.
