Real Madrid Twitter account announces Lionel Messi signing but it was all a hack

The group was at it again, first it was Barcelona's account announcing the singing of Angel Di Maria from PSG few days ago and now Real Madrid's official Twitter account on Saturday shook the entire football world by announcing the signing of Lionel Messi but it was all the handy work of hackers.

But it later was found out that it was in fact a security breach by hackers group named 'OurMine', who had earlier took control over Barcelona's social media profiles.

A post on Real's Twitter at 5.30am BST, accompanied by a video of Messi scoring for Barcelona against Real Madrid, said:

Benvingut Messi! ¡Bienvenido Messi! Welcome Messi! Bienvenue Messi! #Messi.
The group, which has hacked a series of high-profile accounts over the past 12 months, then followed it up with a series of tweets claiming responsibility for the hacking, saying: "Internet security is s*** and we proved that."

The post went viral, with over 27,000 retweets in the first 45 minutes of it being up and remained public for around 90 minutes before they disappeared from Real's Spanish and English language feeds.
