Rain and storms to lash Cyprus this week before heat returns
Rain and storms could descend on the Mediterranean island
on Monday while temperatures are expected to go on the rise beginning from, Wednesday announced Cyprus weather officials.
Cyprus has been experiencing cloudy skies since the weekend with the Meteorological Service predicting summer shows and possibly even storms for Monday and maybe Tuesday.
Any likely rain or storms are expected to occur in the northwest of the island and mountain regions.
Temperatures are however expected to linger around the 35’C mark until Tuesday before beginning a steady increase and by Friday, temperatures are expected to be around 38’C.
