Paper Round: Sanchez to see out contract and leave as free agent, Conte demands Van Dijk and others

It's Monday's Paper Round on Olomoinfo Blog. Alexis Sanchez will stay and see out his contract with Arsenal before leaving on a free transfer whilst Antonio Conte demands more signings.

Sanchez to see out contract and leave for free
The Mirror report that Alexis Sanchez has been dropping hints to friends and team-mates that he is going to have to accept Arsenal's stance that he will not be sold this summer. Sanchez will reportedly see out his contract and then leave on a free transfer when he will be able to command a higher wage.

Our view: If Arsenal aren't worried about losing Sanchez for free come next summer, then keeping the Chilean till the end of his contract is a very good idea. But you never know what will happen. We have been here before with the likes of van Persie, Adebayo, Nasri, Toure and the rest.

Conte wants Van Dijk and others
The Mirror also report that Antonio Conte still wants more signings and hopes it will begin with Virgil van Dijk. After defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield Conte reportedly hopes to have more names in his squad before the window closes.

Our view: Chelsea has had a tough summer that include a very small squad. Yes they have added new faces to the team but its more or like replacement for those who left. van Dijk prefers a move to Liverpool but only time will tell if will say yes to a move to Chelsea.

Koeman confirms Sigurdsson deal is close
The Sun quotes Everton manager Ronald Koeman who has confirmed that a deal to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson is close now after negotiations have dragged on for most of the summer. He also said he wouldn't want the spending to end there.

Our view: Good Koeman is about to get his man. But what baffles me is why the big clubs are not look the way of Sigurdsson? This guy boast of some specific skill-set and a very good player who scores and assist goals. Everton got this right.

Stoke agree Choupo-Moting deal
The Mail who report that Stoke City have agreed a deal to sign Jean-Eric Choupo-Moting on a three-year contract. The forward, who can play out wide or through the middle, was at Stoke on Sunday completing a medical and will sign on a free transfer from Schalke.

Our view: After loosing Marko Arnautovic to West Ham United, Stoke City need a quick replacement. Choupo-Moting is clearly a decent player but the deal is coming late with the league just few days away. Nice deal all the same.
