Obama’s tweet condemning hate killing becomes third most-liked in history with 2.4m likes

Former US president and the first black President of the United States, Barack Obama, is still making history even after serving as the President of the most powerful country in the world.

While US President Donald Trump initially chose to be silent over Saturday racial killing in Charlottesville, Virginia, ex-President Obama’s tweet condemning the attack is gaining all the attention and has garnered 2.4 million likes and still counting.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion… Obama wrote.
The tweet alone gathered 39,000 responses, over 1.0 million retweets, and more than 2.4 million likes, making it the third most-liked tweet in history, according to Esquire magazine.

He didn't stop there but did two quick follow-ups, with one of them quoting late ex-South African President Nelson Mandela, who had said,

…For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
