Friends Hangout

If you are in Lefkosa (Nicosia), Cyprus, you might have heard something about this wonderful group of young individuals that goes by the hashtag #FriendsHangout, a group that believe in unity and love.  

They have for some time now, about two or three weeks come together to create a more relaxed feeling to Christian worship and service. 

Upon following their WhatsApp group video update, it doesn’t seem as a conventional denominational gathering, but a platform for young persons from different churches to come together to play games, worship and pray over a very relaxed and fun filled atmosphere.

From our inquiry, the idea is that of young Christians coming together to discuss about their daily struggles in this sin-infected society, and through love and oneness help each other without being judgmental.

There are friends that stick closer than `brothers`, and this seem to be one group of friends that can be really sincere and helpful. 

 

Their WhatsApp videos come alive at 8pm every Tuesdays, both in outdoors and indoor settings. 

The group is opened to all who want to be part of this friendly and lovely atmosphere whether you live in Magusa, Girne, Lefke, Haspolat or anywhere in Cyprus.
