Cyprus Weather - Temperatures to go on a high

The weather in Cyprus is expected to get hotter on Friday and remain that way over the weekend as inland temperatures soar to about 39°C.

According to the Cyprus Meteorological Department, the next three days will be very hot with inland temperatures reaching as high as 39°C, higher than the 36°C average for the end of August.

The report noted that temperatures will be slightly cooler on the coasts and in the mountains.

Temperatures on the east coasts are expected to reach 36°C, 34°C on the south coast, and 32°C on the west and north coasts while the mountains will be 31°C,” which are about two degrees Celsius higher than usual for this time of year.

Beginning from Monday, maximum temperatures will begin to drop again, maybe by two degrees on the first day and even more on Tuesday and Wednesday, reaching the usual average of 36°C.

Due to an anticipated fair level of humidity, evenings could be cooler and pleasant.

Rain or heavy cloud cover is not anticipated.

It will be a nice weather anyway. Enjoy the summer....
