Thousands of protesters march in several cities accross the US calling for Trump's impeachment
Thousands of protesters gathered in cities across the United States on Sunday — just two days before Independence Day calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Thousands gathered on Sunday in downtown Los Angeles as protesters marched from Pershing Square to Fletcher-Bowron Square carrying signs and chanting “Down, down, down with Trump — up, up, up with the people” in an effort to urge Congress to impeach the president, reports, CBS Los Angeles.
The peaceful demonstration was one of dozens of events held across the country on Sunday, aimed at voicing displeasure with Trump and his White House.
Thousands also took part in the "Impeachment Marches" in other cities including, New York, Philadelphia, Austin, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco and dozens of other locations.
In New York, protesters rallied outside Trump International Hotel & Tower.
According to the Associated Press, dozens of pro-Trump supporters attempted to disrupt a rally in Austin, Texas where hundreds rallied at the State Capitol and marched to City Hall to demand Trump's impeachment.
In Manhattan, protesters chanted outside Trump International Hotel and Tower at Columbus Circle and Central Park West, CBS New York reports.

Donald Trump has been in blatant violation of the Constitution from the day he was sworn into the office of President, the event's website states.
It is time that congressional representatives do their job and start the process to impeach this president," it adds.

I am here today because I love my country," Congressman Al Green told supporters at the event before leading a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "God Bless America.
We cannot let others to steal the notion that somehow they're more patriotic than we are," said Green. "We are patriotic Americans, he said.
