Temperatures in Cyprus to reach higher than normal over next three days
Due to a low pressure system which is affecting the Mediterranean region, temperatures in Cyprus will be higher than usual for
the next three days as it is expected to reach as high as 40C inland.
Temperatures will reach 37C on the east coast, 35C on the southern coast and 33C in other coastal areas while in the mountains, temperatures will peak at 31C.
At night, temperatures will be as low as 25C inland in south and east, 22C in other areas close to the sea and 18C in Troodos.
A small drop in temperatures is expected from Thursday.
This is not the first time this month that temperatures have soared. In the beginning of the month temperatures reached their highest of any July in the past 30 years when it reached 44.6C.
