Photos of the day: Students turns van into pool (Photos)

If you are in Cyprus and have experienced the extent of the summer heat, you would do anything to lessen the effects. And that's the case with a group of youngsters from the village of Lefkoniko (Gecitkale), Cyprus who found a rather odd way to escape the island’s scorching heat and to cool off during the hot summer.

The University students decided to turn the back of their van into a pool drawing the attention of the villagers who gathered around taking photos.

Thy laid nylon sheeting on the back of the van and filled it with cold water, poured their drinks, wore their… “Life belts” and dived in.

We’ve lost it, they told reporters who were taking photos. The heat has got to us.!
