Paper Round: Manchester United to snp another Chelsea target in Tiemoue Bakayoko

It's Monday's Paper Round and the papers are reporting that Manchester United could be set to beat Chelsea to Tiemoue Bakayoko after snapping Romelu Lukaku.

Man Utd to beat Chelsea to Bakayoko
We start with The Star who report that having beaten Premier League champions to the signing of Romelu Lukaku Manchester United now want to pull the same trick and beat them to Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. Like Lukaku was Bakayoko has been linked to the Blues for some weeks now but the report says United have agreed a fee with Monaco.

Our view: This is getting so interesting. The Blues are yet to recover from the lost of Lukaku to United and just before we go say Jack Robison, United are ready to dealt Chelsea another blow in Bakayoko. This means Chelsea need to get their business done swiftly and secretly.

Arsenal confident Lemar will sign
Moving to The Mirror where it is reported that Arsenal will go back in with a third bid for Thomas Lemar that could be worth £45 million plus add-ons. Having seen two bids rejected Arsenal are not deterred and Arsene Wenger is confident that Lemar wants to join the Gunners.

Our view: After signing Alexandre Lacazette, the club needed to make more statement signing and that means going after another top talent. Hope they see this one through to give the fans some hope for next season.

Walcott wants to stay despite West Ham interest
Returning to The Star and it is reported that despite interest from West Ham Theo Walcott wants to remain with Arsenal. Despite a dip in form and potential new arrivals like Lemar Walcott remains confident in his ability.

Our view: Walcott should take a cue from Rooney's new book of transfer. Trying to remain at Arsenal inspite of his struggle might be a time bomb. We advise he leave for West Ham and resurrect his career in-time for the world cup next year.

Perez left out of Arsenal tour but Giroud joins
Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has been left out of the Arsenal pre-season tour with The Mirror reporting that he is keen on a return to former side Deportivo La Coruna. However fellow forward Olivier Giroud is included despite interest elsewhere with the report suggesting he wants to fight for his place.
