Fenerbahce terminates Emmanuel Emenike's contract
Turkish football club, Fenerbahce has terminated the contract of former Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike bringing his four troubled years at the club to an end.
The 30 year old made just 19 appearances for the club last season, scoring four goals in the process after spending time on loan in the UAE with Al-Ain and in England with West Ham the previous season.
Emenike who is heavily linked with a move to Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine is expected to be compensated by the team before he is officially declared a free player, which will clear the way for him to move to the Ukrainian giants.
His contract was terminated alongside that of Dutch right back Gregory Van Der Wiel.
