Cyprus temperatures set to increase again
A slight temperature increase is expected over the next couple of
days in Cyprus said the Met office on Monday, but conditions will be nowhere near
as intense as those experienced last week, that should be a sigh of relief.
According to the Met office, the temperature increase is expected to affect only inland areas as Tuesday's inland temperature is expected to rise by 1 degree to 40C, and to 41C on Wednesday.
Due to low humidity levels, conditions are expected to be milder than last week, thereby increasing the heatwave.
By Thursday and Friday, temperatures are expected to plunge to 36C and 37C which are normal seasonal levels, the Met office said.
And as regards the coastal areas, temperatures are expected to be around 36C in the south and 33C in the west throughout the week.
Remember to stay healthy, get more rest, drink enough water, eat more fruit and vegetables, avoid being under the sun for too long, avoid alcohol, coffee and heavy foods such as oil, chocolates, spices, avoid unnecessary movement and heavy physical exercise.
