NANS President Comrade Aruna Kadiri deported back to Nigeria on arrival in North Cyprus

The factional president of the National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS), Comrade Aruna Kadiri, was on Tuesday June 6th, 2017 refused entry into the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, and repatriated back at the airport, as he was due to attend an event organized by an unrecognized organization in the country. 

Reports reaching us had it that he was due to attend an event organized by an unrecognized organization named the "National Association of Nigerian Student, Europe Zone" with its head office at the Girne American University in Girne, North Cyprus. 

From our investigation, the said organization is a scam and does not exist, as such, they could not obtain the necessary permit from appropriate authorizes for his entry into the country which led to his refusal and repatriation. 

All efforts to get him access into the country failed as it was made clear that the only recognized umbrella body of Nigerian student in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus is the National Association of Nigerian Student, Turkish Zone, led by Comrade Ahayere Evidence. 

Our investigations also revealed that one comrade Emmanuel Temile, and Comrade Gideon Obuoson are behind this said organization. Efforts to reach them proved abortive as they did not pick up calls put across to them.

More updates will be made available on this matter as efforts to reach the President of NANS Turkish Zone, Comrade Ahayere Evidence concerning the issue were not successful as we were told he was in a meeting with the management of one of the Universities in Cyprus.
