Kathy Griffin claims she was bullied by Donald Trump and family

Under fire US comedian, Kathy Griffin on Thursday claimed she has been subjected to bullying by the Trump family. 


The 56-year-old said she will on Friday explain the reason behind her controversial photo shoot with a bloodied mask of President Trump and respond to alleged bullying from the Trump family on Friday.

Her lawyer, Lisa Bloom announced on Twitter that the pair would a joint press conference on Friday regarding the issue. It will be the first comments Griffin has made since she was relieved of her duties as CNN’s New Year’s Eve host after posting a controversial image of her holding what looked like a bloody, decapitated head of US President Donald Trump.

Ms Bloom said they would “explain the true motivation behind the image, and respond to bullying from the Trump family that she has endured.”

Griffin was sacked from CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, a gig she’d held for more than a decade, and criticised by everyone including from Chelsea Clinton to good friend, Anderson Cooper, saying that her joke went too far.
