Beyonce ‘gave birth to her twins a week ago but still in hospital due to a minor issue

Last week, news broke out claiming that US power couple, Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed their new twins — a boy and a girl — nearly a week ago. A new report by gossip site TMZ now claims that the superstar singer and her husband Jay Z reportedly welcomed their new twins almost a week ago but that a minor issue has kept them in hospital.

The website reports a source telling them that doctors don’t “feel comfortable” releasing the newborns just yet but they are expected to be OK.

“Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends,” A source told People magazine.

Multiple sources also confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly.

Beyoncé, 35, famously announced she was pregnant with twins with an Instagram post in February.

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” she wrote alongside the snap.
