Ariana Grande Manchester benefit concert sells out in six minutes

Tickets for Ariana Grande's ‘One Love’ Manchester concert went on sale at 10am on Thursday morning and within six minutes, it was all sold out according to the official Twitter account for the event.


The benefit gig slated for Sunday June 4th at Emirates Old Trafford is an opportunity for fans at her Manchester Arena concert last Monday to heal, after the bomb which took 22 lives and left more than 59 others wounded.

The benefit concert aims to raise money for the victims and families affected by the Manchester terror attack.

The venue has a capacity of 50,000 compared to the Manchester Arena's 21,000.

Tickets went on general sale at 10am today, but by 10.11am the official Twitter account for the concert updated disappointed fans that all the spaces had gone.

Last week on Monday May 22, a suicide bomber detonated an explosion at Grande’s Manchester Arena concert killing 22 people and left 59 wounded. According to reports, fans were leaving the show when the explosion occurred. 

Artiste expected to perform at the event includes; Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Take That, Niall Horan, and others.
