Social media reacts as Donald Trump appears to push aside Montenegro president

During his first joint meeting with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) leaders on Thursday in Brussels, US President Trump generated attention on social media as he appeared to push aside the prime minister of Montenegro as he tried to get in front of the pack.

In a video of the interaction, Trump comes up from behind, put his right hand on the arm of  Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and then shoves him to get to the front of the group of world leaders with Trump then adjusting his jacket - but the man he shoved aside took it in his stride.

Trump then stood near Markovic and spoke to Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.
"It seems Donald Trump did not want that anyone overshadows his presence at the summit," said the Montenegro newspaper Vijesti.
Other Balkan websites ran headlines such as "America First" and "Where do you think you are going?"

Markovic however, shrugged off the issue.
"It didn't really register. I just saw reactions about it on social networks. It is simply a harmless situation," he told reporters after the summit.
According to Markovic, he said, "it is natural that the president of the United States is in the front row."
