NANS Nigerian Demcracy day celebration in Cyprus

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Turkish Zone on Monday May 29 celebrated the Nigeria democracy day with the theme: "The Journey so Far". The colorful event which was graced by several eminent personalities from all works of life and Nigerian students living in Cyprus was held at the Cyprus International University, Cyprus.

Every May 29 is regarded as democracy day in Nigeria. The day commemorates the restoration of democracy in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, following multiple decades of military rule that began in 1966.
