The Islamic State group has claimed
responsibility for the deadly attack that claimed 22 lives and injured 59 people at the Manchester Arena and hailing the bomber as a "soldier of the caliphate".
The terrorist group released statements in several languages posted on telegram praising the atrocity, claiming more than 100 "crusaders" were killed or wounded at the "shameless" concert.

"With Allah's grace and support, a soldier of the Khilafah [caliphate] managed to place explosive devices in the midst of the gatherings of the crusaders in the British city of Manchester," said the English versionAccording to group, the attack was carried out with an explosive device planted at the concert.
"One of the soldiers of the Caliphate was able to place an explosive device within a gathering of the Crusaders in the city of Manchester," the statement said.

at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday just when US pop star
Ariana Grande was about ending his concert as crowds of teenagers had begun to leave,
many for an adjacent train station.
