Strong winds in Cyprus to continue into Monday
The Cyprus Met office has announced that strong winds reaching 6 Beaufort – 25-30 miles per hour – which
affected much of the island since Saturday April 22 is set to continue into Monday,
April 24.
The wind which comes with so much force has reportedly destroyed some properties and caused several trees to fall in the divided island.
The strong winds will prevail into Monday but will drop to 3-4 Beaufort as the day progresses.
According to the met office, temperatures are expected to rise gradually to 30C by Thursday and will remain at that level over the coming weekend.
We advise everyone out there to take caution and urged all motorists to drive with care.
Also try to keep your important belongs indoor as the wind is capable of blowing anything away.
