Real Madrid to face Atletico Madrid in Champions League semis while Manchester United play Celta Vigo in Europa League
Draws for the European Champions League semi final fixture is out and just as it is, Spanish neighbors Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will lock horns in a repeat of the 2016 finals.
Defending champions Real, who eliminated Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals, could seek to become the first club in the Champions League era to win the competition back to back.
The two Madrid clubs have met in the Champions League final in two of the last three years, with Real coming out on top on both occasions but do you see this tie heading in the same direction? Only time will tell.
Though Atletico Madrid who also reached the final in 1974, when they were defeated by Bayern are yet to win the competition.
the first tie will see Real Madrid welcome Atletico Madrid to the Bernabeu on May 2 before travelling to the Calderon eight days later on May 10.
The other tie will see Ligue 1 leaders Monaco take on Italian champions Juventus. Juventus who lost the 2015 finals to Barcelona were champions of Europe in 1985 and 1996.
While Monaco have only once reached the final once in their history but lost to Jose Mourinho's Porto in 2004.
Juventus will travel to the Stade Louis II on May 3 before Monaco travel to Turin on May 9.
The final will be played at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday June 3.
