Kendall Jenner admits her heart dropped first time she saw Caitlyn dressed as a woman

Reality star and model Kendall Jenner has opened up about her father, Bruce Jenner now Caitlyn Jenner saying that she had hints about Caitlyn’s transition after seeing her dress as a woman before she announced it to her family.

The 21-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, told Harper's Bazaar about how she struggled to come to terms with her dad's transition. According to her, she and her sisters found clues around the house growing up: a wig, nail polish.

A year before her father came out, Jenner said she saw her dressed as Caitlyn during a middle-of-the-night kitchen run.
"It was like an investigation for a really long time. We would find little things and think, 'This isn't normal.' For a minute, we were like, 'OK, is he cheating?' And then we'd say, 'I don't think so,’” she told the magazine.
Kendall said one night she went down stairs to the kitchen and found her dad dressed as a woman.
"My heart dropped,” she said. "That's when she would dress as herself, at four in the morning, before we would get up. So that was like, 'Whoa,' for a second.”

Caitlyn, 67, and former Olympian came out as transgender in April 2015 on the cover of Vanity Fair, but her family already “kind of knew.”

"When she told us, and told us that it was going to be a real thing, it was an emotional couple of months,” Jenner said.
“And if I would talk about it, I would cry, just because you're mourning someone … losing someone. The person is still there, of course, but physically you're losing someone. It was my dad who I grew up with my whole life and who raised me.
Jenner admitted it was an "adjustment", but ultimately says nothing had really changed and Caitlyn was "still there".
It's an adjustment, for sure. But honestly, you start to realize that this person is still alive. This person is still here. They are still a blessing. They are still awesome. I realized that I should just be thankful that I still have my dad. It starts to just become normal. You're just like, 'OK, cool.’"
