Donald Trump vows to deal with North Korea with or without China's help
US president Donald Trump signaled that the US is ready to deal with the
increasingly hostile North Korea’s nuclear program unilaterally if China refused to take a tougher stance.

'Well, if China is not going to solve North Korea, we will,' Trump said in a new interview with the Financial Times. 'That is all I am telling you.'Asked if he would be able to cut a deal with the Chinese leader, He said he has great 'respect' for both Xi and China.
'I would not be at all surprised if we did something that would be very dramatic and good for both countries and I hope so,' Trump explained.
'China has great influence over North Korea,' Trump pointed out. 'And China will either decide to help us with North Korea, or they won't.'
And if they do that will be very good for China, and if they don't it won't be good for anyone."Asked by The Financial Times if he believed he could solve the North Korea problem without China's help.
'Totally,' Trump replied. 'Totally.'
