Donald Trump congratulates US Military for Syria missile attack

US President, Donald Trump, in a tweet on Saturday, congratulated the US military men and women who executed his ordered missile airstrike on the Syrian air base in response to a deadly chemical attack on civilians earlier in the week.
Even though the attack has been met with mixed reactions of glee and criticism, Trump nevertheless sees it as victory for his administration.

“Congratulations to our great military men and women for representing the United States, and the world, so well in the Syria attack,” Trump tweeted.

The US military launched the 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles targeted at the Shayrat air base, near the central Syrian town of Homs, overnight Thursday from U.S. Navy ships in the Mediterranean Sea and reportedly killing nine people.

 

According to report, Assad purportedly ordered the attack, which killed a reported 87 people, including children.
