Time confusion in North Cyprus and Turkey

If you are in Turkey or North Cyprus, you might have noticed the time difference on your electronic gadgets when you woke up from sleep on Sunday morning which kind of lead to confusion as to what the real time is when computer clocks went forward by one hour to summer time.


Recall that Turkey and North Cyprus made a decision last summer not to change it's time to daylight saving time for winter, fast forward to March, 26, 2017 computers and mobile devices moved their clocks forward, again as usual, with time in Turkey and North Cyprus remaining unchanged.

So if you are in Turkey or North Cyprus, don't get confused if you noticed the time change in your devices, just correct it and move it an hour back.
