Paul Pogba becomes first player of the 2016-17 Premier league season to complete over 1,000 passes in opposition half
Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba has hit a new Premier League record after he became the first player in the
Premier League this season to complete 1,000 passes in the opposition half.
According to statistics from EA Sports, Pogba, has so far made 1,029 passes with a completion rate of 83.05 percent, ahead of Liverpool's Jordan Henderson with 987 passes, Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, 954, Manchester City's David Silva 930 and Chelsea's Eden Hazard 875 while his closest Old Trafford teammate is Ander Herrera with 871, in sixth place.
Pogba moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2016 for a world-record £89.3 million transfer fee and scored four goals and assisting a further three in 24 Premier League appearances.
