McDonald’s blasts Donald Trump in tweets, the fast food chain investigating potential hack

A tweet from McDonald's official Twitter account has described US president Donald Trump as a “disgusting excuse of a president”, with many suspecting that the account has been hacked.

According to a report by The Sun, the fast food chain’s @McDonaldsCorp profile posted the message which was pinned to the top of the chain’s Twitter feed for all to see hit out at Donald Trump.

“@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands,” the tweet reads.

McDonald’s moved quickly to delete the tweet from its feed and said it was investigating it.

The tweet has since attracted a lot of attention and was retweeted with messages including “It’s McWar” and “They’re not lovin’ it”.

“Twitter notified us that our account was compromised,” the restaurant posted. “We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.”

Meanwhile Trump has said in the past that he is a fan of fast food like McDonald’s.
