At least four people including a police officer and a terrorist are among those killed and 40 others wounded wounded following a terrorist attack just yards from the UK Houses of Parliament on Wednesday.
Here's some few facts about the attack so far

* He stabbed an unarmed policeman Pc Keith Palmer, 48, who later died from the injuries before being shot by armed officers.  Pc Palmer had worked for the Metropolitan Police for 15 years, having previously served in the armed forces.

* Investigators say they believe they know the identity of the attacker, and that he is thought to have acted alone but was “inspired by international terrorism”.

* Three French high school students, four British university students and two Romanians were among those injured when the attacker drove into pedestrians.

* Five South Korean tourists and a German woman resident in Australia were also identified among the wounded.

* One woman eneded up the Thames from the bridge and was later rescued from the water but sustained serious injuries.
