US President, Donald Trump is set to sign a new
immigration order that will remove Iraq from the list of countries whose
citizens face a temporary US travel ban.
According to reports from US officials on Tuesday, the administration's decision comes following pressure from the Pentagon and State Department who had urged the White House to reconsider Iraq's inclusion given its key role in fighting the Islamic State group.

Trump is expected to sign the new order on Wednesday that will replace an earlier order that was blocked by federal courts.
The other six countries including Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen will remain on the travel ban list.
