Doanld Trump blasts Snoop Dogg over controversial video

US President Donald Trump has fired back at Snoop Dogg days after the rapper released a controversial music video in which he points a toy gun at a clown likeness of  Trump before pulling the trigger on him.

Trump on Wednesday took to his twitter handle to lash out at Snoop Dogg where he said it Ain’t No Fun to be dropping videos featuring mock shootings before calling for him to be jailed.

"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" Trump Tweeted.

The video of Snoop’s latest hit Lavender which was released last week features Snoop Dogg and a man called Ronald Klump with an orange face and peroxide hair who runs the country while other clowns run the police. In the video, Snoop Dogg shoots the Trump clown with a gun that releases a flag with the word "bang."

Snoop Dogg has since come in for criticism from several quarters including from Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen who described it as “totally disgraceful,” before calling on the rapper to apologize to the president.
