Cyprus Talks: Political parties and unions in North Cyprus calls on leaders to resme talks
A group of Turkish Cypriot political parties and trade unions in a demonstration on Monday called on Turkish Cypriot president, Mustafa Akinci and Greek Cypriot president, Nicos Anastasiades to end the negotiation deadlock and resume talks.
Representatives from the various political parties and unions who gathered in front of the Presidential Palace on Monday read a press statement calling on both leaders of the divided Cyprus community to resume negotiation talks.
The group also called on Anastasiades to rid himself of the influence of fascist elements.

“We reject Enosis and Taksim (a solution which brings about union with Greece or Turkey), or the separation of Cyprus, the future of Cyprus is a federation.”
“We call on president Akinci to return to the negotiating table rather than travelling to Pakistan, and for Mr. Anastasiades to free himself of the influence of fascist elements, to stop acting capriciously and to return to the negotiating table to resume from where they left off,” read the statement.BRT
