Arnold Schwarzenegger mocks Donald Trump's approval ratings: 'you got swamped'
US president, Donald Trump has always attacked Arnold
Schwarzenegger for his Celebrity Apprentice ratings, now it's the turn of the former California governor to do the attacking as the public feud between the pair continues after he took to Twitter on Tuesday to mock Trump for his slip in approval ratings following the release of a recent Gallop poll that saw Trump approval's rating drop to just 37 percent.
Schwarzenegger slammed Trump for his poor ratings, and implored him to go to a local
middle school and see what “fantastic” work after-school programs are
accomplishing.
According to the recent poll, only 58 per cent of Americans disapprove of his performance so far as his approval rating hovered in the mid-to-low 40s in the weeks
following the beginning of his presidency.
“Oh, Donald, the ratings are in, and you got swamped,” Schwarzenegger said in a video he posted online. “Wow. Now you’re in the 30s?”
“But what do you expect? he added. I mean when you take away after-school programs for children and meals on wheels for the poor people, that’s not what you call ‘making America great again.’ Come on!” he continued. “I mean, who is advising you?
Schwarzenegger then appears to invite Trump to visit Hart Middle School in
Washington D.C. to see the work his After-School All-Stars organisation
is carrying out.
“I’ll take you there, so you can see the fantastic work that they’re doing for these children,” Schwarzenegger added.
Few weeks ago, Trump said Celebrity Apprentice has
been a “total disaster” since Schwarzenegger took over with Schwarzenegger firing back at Trump, suggesting he and Mr Trump should switch jobs “so people can finally sleep comfortably again.
