Adele stops concert performance to tell security guard to stop telling people to sit down

British singer Adele during the final performance of her tour on Sunday night at Melbourne's Ethiad Stadium, Australia stopped her concert mid-way to call out at a security guard who took his job more serious than others present at the concert when he tried to make her fans sit down in their seats.

The security guard suffered a backlash from the 28-year-old singer after he reportedly told revelers, who wanted to stand during the concert to dance, to sit down which however got the singer irritated before leaping to the defence of her fans.

"Excuse me sir? I know you work here but could you stop telling people to sit down? This is a music show, she told the guard.
"If people can't see then they can stand up.

"If you're moaning about people dancing, what the f*** have you come to a show for?
"If I see one more person be told to sit down, I swear to God."
Highlights from the show which  77,000-strong crowd came for, include a surprise proposal by Adele, who invited a gay couple to join her on stage who took the opportunity to proposed to his boyfriend.
“That wasn’t planned, I had no idea!” Adele said of the proposal.
