The "2nd International Northern Cyprus Bicycle Tour begins

The 2nd International Northern Cyprus Cycling Tour organized by the Northern Cyprus Ministry of Tourism and Environment, and the Northern Cyprus Cycling Federation, begins on Thursday February 16.

The event which will take place at four different locations in the Mediterranean island, will begin with an opening ceremony at Kyrenia Gate at 11.00 am on Thursday February 16th and will end on Sunday February 19, 2017.

The tour will see teams from 16 different countries participating in 4 stage tour and 543 km which will begin at Trikomo to the Karpas Peninsula route on February 16, and then move onto Famagusta on February 17, before heading for the Güzelyurt to Girne route on February 18 and finally in Nicosia on February 19.

According to Kibris Postasi, the cyclists will cross the borders of 20 of the 28 municipalities.
