#IstandwithNigeria Protest: Charly Boy leads protesters in Lagos

The much anticipated protest organized by Civil Rights and Democracy advocacy group, Enough is Enough (EiE) against the Federal government of Nigeria scheduled for Monday February 6th across several cities in Nigeria went ahead as planned in Lagos despite the backing out of co-organizer, TuFace.
 
The protest which lasted only about 2 hours, 30 minutes in Lagos started at 10am from as more than 500 protesters marched from the National Stadium to the National Theater. 

Few Celebrities including Nigerian veteran singer Charly Boy, comedian Seyi Law, Yomi Fabiyi Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore and several others took part in the protest. attendance.e.

According to report by popular blogger, Linda Ikeji, police officers were on ground to ensure it was a peaceful protest with the Lagos State Police commissioner and Police PRO in attendance.  

Also in a similar development, some #IstandwithNigeria protesters led by daughter of special adviser to President Buhari on political matters, Babafemi Ogudu, Moremi, stormed the home of APC National leader, Bola Tinubu, earlier in the day to register their frustration about the current economic situation in the country.

Addressing the protesters, the APC National leader advised them to be patient as it will take time to correct the damage that has been done by previous government.
