Car Tupac was shot in up for sale at $1.5m

The car in which late American rapper Tupac Shakur was in when he was shot in 1996 is up for sale for $US1.5 million.  

The rap star who was 25, died on September, 7, 1996 after he was shot in a BMW when he was travelling in the car driven by Death Row Records chairman Suge Knight on Sept. 7, 1996 at a drive-by in Las Vegas.

He died from gun shot wound in hospital six days later.

The BMW 750iL - which once belonged to Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight - is being listed for sale on the website of a California-based memorabilia dealer Moments In Time.
