Beyonce breaks Instagram: announces she's pregnant with twins

Wow!! Beyonce is expecting a set of twins!!! The US singer made the announcement on Wednesday setting Instagram on fire with a record-setting post captioned: "We would like to share our love and happiness, We have been blessed two times over." 

Queen Bey share the surprise news on her Instagram along with a stylized photo of herself wearing lingerie draped in a veil and clutching her belly. And in just less than eight hours later, the post has received more than 6.33 million likes.

The post which now has more than 7.38 likes as at Thursday morning also has over 368,486 comments - as the numbers are still counting.

With the post, Beyonce has already beaten the previous record set by Selena Gomez in 2016, whose Instagram sponsored post of herself sipping a Coke in June last year received 6.3 million likes to date and 250,000 comments.

The surprise news was also burning up on Twitter, with a reported 500,000 tweets in the 45 minutes after her Instagram post went up peaking at 17,000 tweets per minute.

Beyonce is married to rapper Jay Z and also have a 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
