Weekly Motivation Corner: Being Prompt and Dependable

It's another week again, and this week on Weekly Motivation Corner, we will be looking at the topic ''Being Prompt and Dependable."

Read and be motivated....

One of the highlights of the millennial generation is the immense importance of speed and prompt delivery in fostering business and career success. There is every sense of urgency in the world today, customers are no longer ready to wait long hours, days, months or years to be served; everybody wants to be served now right now. That’s why more businesses are promising speed of delivery and offering money back guarantees for delayed deliveries.

Uber became an international sensation due to the comfortability and speed it affords the customer. For anyone/business to succeed in these times, there is the need for superlative speed, for customers will surely move towards someone who gets the job faster and a bit better. Likewise, an employee who gets the job done always, as at when given and not procrastinate till a much later date will naturally be given more workload and in the long run be promoted faster than others.

A sense of urgency is a key requirement today; for whilst the patient dog eats the fattest bone, the fastest dogs get the fattest meat and leave the bones.

These days anyone can be a millionaire if they can find a way to provide a product or service in a much faster way. If people can count on you, and know that when they call you, their needs will be met in the fastest possible manner, they will never look elsewhere.

The customers should not be encountering difficulty in getting to you! You should be the one looking for the customer, getting the products/services to the customer as fast as possible; thereby making their lives easier. This is a major key for success in today’s world.
