Special update on International Passport renewal for Nigerians in Cyprus

This information is going out to all Nigerians in Cyprus/Northern Cyprus who want to renew their International Passport. 

According to a report by the president of the Northern Nigerian Student Association "NNSD" in Cyprus, the Councellor (Acting Ambassador) of the Nigerian Embassy Ankara, in a phone interview made it known that the passport renewal team will arrive in Cyprus soon.


The president stated that he had spoken to the Nigerian Comptroller General of Immigration about the issue, in which he was assured by the comptroller General that the passport renewal team will promptly arrive Turkey to start the processes of passport renewal issues. 

The ambassador also extends his apologies over the delay of the passport renewal process. 

He also included that an emergency travel certificate will be provided to any student who desired to travel to Nigeria.
