Ryan Giggs set to lose half his fortune after divorce with wife

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs is set to lose at least half of his fortune next month after he finally accepted his wife's divorce request as their nine-year old marriage is set to come to an end.

The 43-year-old ex Manchester United player and coach, who is worth about £40million was dumped by Stacy, 38 a year ago after he was linked to a PR executive.

Stacey spotted without her ring on

Following their separation, Stacey ditched her wedding ring but Giggs however was regularly seen wearing his ring with pals claiming he was desperate to give their relationship another shot.

Documents detailing how his assets will be divided will be filed on February 13.

Giggs who retired from active football in 2014 is still living with Stacey and their children Libby, 13, and Zach, 10 kids while he looks for a new home.
