Real Madrid sets new Spanish record

Spanish football club, Real Madrid has set a new Spanish football record by becoming the first club to go 40 games unbeaten in all competition following the club's pulsating 3-3 draw with Sevilla in Copa Del Rey on Thursday night.

The record was was once held by rival Barcelona who went 39 games unbeaten in all competitions last season until Real Madrid halted that streak with a victory in last season's el Classico.
