Police in North Cyprus search for supermarket shoplifters

 
Olomoinfo Blog just uncovered a video of two men appearing to shoplift a bottle of alcohol at Okmar supermarket, Hamitkoy, in Lefkosa, North Cyprus. Upon investigation it was realized that the North Cyprus police is actively looking for the suspects.

According to Okmar supermarket, the alleged shop-lifters have been caught on camera multiple times stealing items from the supermarket worth at least 1000TL. 

The police had initially wrongly arrested two innocent Nigerian students but were duly released following the intervention of of a Christian Fellowship in Terminal and the Nigerian Student Union body of Cyprus International University, (NSU-CIU) upon the realization that they were not the people caught on camera. 
They were duly apologized to by the police who is urging anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of this men to contact the police or any authorities near them.
