Meet SHABAN Sengendo, 07th ''Most Influential Male'' of the year, 2016 in Cyprus International University CIU

Meet SHABAN Sengendo. Shaban was voted as the 07th ''Most Influential Male Personality of the Year, 2016'' in Cyprus International University CIU.

Nationality: Ugandan

Affiliation: Department of Information Systems Engineering.
 
He was the president of the Ugandan Students union in CIU from 2013-2016, and Vice president African Student Union CIU from 2014-2015. He was also the acting president of  African Union from 2015-2016.

Shaban has contributed immensely to the welfare of African Students in CIU.

Achievements: He held the biggest African Event ever in CIU, the ''pre Asga."
He also has four ASGA awards which includes, Award of recognition, Most Social Award, Pride and Spirit Award,  Presenter / host of the year Award.

Advice to young people out there: Believe in yourself.... Let no one ever tell you that you can not do something. let no one ever lie to you that you are not good enough. Self confidence is not exactly self pride..... Have faith in your abilities. Don't let fear or insecurities stop you. LOOK IN THE MIRROR... THAT IS YOUR COMPETITION."
